Brief:
Create a fundraising campaign around Mother’s Day to engage donors with patients overseas in need of critical medical treatments.
Solution:
Working closely with the marketing team at Samahope (a growing non-profit located in San Francisco), we developed the #HonorYourMom campaign to connect mothers in the States to mothers overseas in need of funds for life-changing surgeries. Users sign up to donate money in honor of their mom, write a message about how wonderful she is, and share their love across social media.
Results:
In only 12 days, we raised $18,750, funded 100 patient surgeries, and were featured in TechCrunch, Daily Beast, SF Chronicle, PBS and more.
